Join Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and The Nature Conservancy in Iowa for a sneak peak at Green Hill Ranch, 506 acres of cascading peak-and-saddle hills, oak savanna and remnant prairie pockets that the two land trusts have partnered together to protect. The afternoon will include opportunities to explore the property, a short program at 4:45 p.m. and time to mix and mingle with like-minded people. Rain date: Friday, Oct. 26, 5 p.m.

Please bring:
- Sturdy shoes or hiking boots, long pants and dress for the weather
- A folding chair
- A water bottle
- A hiking stick, camera and binoculars, if you like

Council Bluffs
From Council Bluffs, head southeast on Harry Langdon Blvd. Harry Langdon Blvd. becomes Wabash Ave. Continue along Wabash Ave. Wabash Ave. become 221st St. Continue on 221st St. past address above (50227 221st St.) partway up the hill to the marked turn on the left. Look for event staff and signage. Follow the road to the designated parking area. It is a short walk from the parking area to the event site. Please note: The road into the property includes some sharp curves and blind spots. Please drive with care. Use caution when leaving the property. The driveway is blind to vehicles coming down the hill, and traffic tends to move fast. Staff will be available to help watch for oncoming traffic.
