Join us in celebration of the protection and opening of The Narrows Preserve — a new 50-acre preserve on the shores of East Lake Okoboji. Protected through the quick action of many generous supporters and partnering organizations, the nonprofit Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation is now the owner and manager of this property conserved to protect wildlife habitat, water quality and the natural character of the Lakes.
Chat with INHF land stewardship staff about planned restoration work, gain insight into the importance of this wildlife corridor and share in the joy of this successful protection story.
No RSVP necessary – come and go as you please and relax in the quiet of one of the last stretches of privately-owned, undeveloped shorelines on East Lake Okoboji.
