Join Spirit Lake Protective Association for brunch, music and a silent auction benefitting Reeds Run Wildlife Area.
Reeds Run is a 43 acre property comprised of prairie, wetland and wildlife habitat just off of the shore of Big Spirit Lake in Dickinson County. The area is a priority sub-watershed that serves an important role for lake water quality.
The event is held at Mini-Wakan State Park. An omelet brunch served until 11 a.m. is provided by Hy-Vee and SLPA volunteers from 9-11 a.m. Music by Jesse James and games for kids can be enjoyed all morning. A silent auction ending at 11:50 is your opportunity to own an one-of-a-kind household item decorated by local artists with a nautical or nature theme. Proceeds support Reeds Run Wildlife Area.
