Day in the life of INHF land stewardship interns

Wednesday

INHF land stewardship intern pauses to look downhill at the fire the interns fueled with brush removed from a hillside.

Last week three INHF office interns met up with our statewide land stewardship interns in Iowa County to see what it’s like to be out in the field.

As the statewide interns worked hard clearing brush from a few hillsides at Indiangrass Hills, the office interns documented their progress and for a short time lent a hand!

Check back next week for more photos from the great day spent on a beautiful remnant prairie.
