INHF and Clear Lake Earth Days pair up for a trash pick-up

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:

Many hands make light work! Celebrate Earth Day this year by lending a hand to help pick-up litter near the trail alongside Clear Lake.

What: Trash pick-up in Ventura Cove Woods.

Where: Along the trail through Ventura Cove Woods, near Clear Lake. Meet and park in the parking lot along Balsam Ave. (S-14), just S of Ventura and north of the fishing jetty. The meeting spot is depicted as “B” on this map.

When:  April 26, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (please arrive ~ 9:45 a.m.). We will follow the 5K and 10K- just meet us at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot listed above!

*at 9:15 a.m., INHF and The Nature Conservancy will host coffee and rolls at Sisters’ Prairie- join us!

Why: To aid in the upkeep of a project made possible by INHF.

Details: 

All ages are welcome (young children should have supervision). Light refreshments will be provided. Latex gloves will be available, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own heavy-duty work gloves.
