Zoe and Daria, INHF's new office interns

INHF is excited to welcome two new office interns to our team. Zoe Hanna joins us as a graphic design intern and will create print and digital collateral for INHF publications and events. Daria Mather is our communications intern and will produce content for the magazine, website and social media pages. Together they help strengthen our communications team, share stories of Iowa's wild places and uphold INHF's mission.

Zoe Hanna, INHF Graphic Design Intern

Zoe is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is a senior graphic design and writing student at Drake University.

Although she was born in the south, her roots in the Midwest run deep. Zoe grew up visiting family in Iowa, and spent her summers swimming and fishing at Clear Lake. Now, her favorite thing to do outdoors is paint and draw, because inspiration is all around her.

Zoe is looking forward to paying it forward, and being part of an organization that is constantly working to preserve and restore the Iowa nature that she holds so dear.

Daria Mather, INHF Communications Intern

Daria is excited to be the newest communications intern at INHF. She will be working with the communications team to create content for the magazine, website and social media pages that upholds and shares the mission of INHF.

Daria was born in Idaho, but moved to Des Moines shortly after, where she lived until her family moved to Peoria, Illinois. She started playing soccer when she was five-years-old and recently completed her collegiate career at Simpson College. The sport fostered a love of the outdoors and driving to soccer tournaments in different states gave her perspective on different landscapes throughout the Midwest.

Daria looks forward to working with INHF, learning more about and exploring the state she hopes to continue calling home after she graduates from Simpson with a degree in Multimedia Communications this spring.
