Iowa Prairie Conference will be held July 16-18

Mingle with other prairie enthusiasts, get educated on the latest developments and network at the 2015 Iowa Prairie Conference from Thursday, July 16, to Saturday, July 18, at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. This year’s theme is “Working Prairies,” which reflects the evolving role of prairie in today’s landscape. Whether a dedicated prairie enthusiast or simply a citizen with curiosity, anyone is welcome to attend.

UNI’s Tallgrass Prairie Center will host the conference this summer, providing opportunities for education, discussion and networking with natural resource practitioners, educators and students. Also featured will be workshop sessions, social events and field trips—with one toQuigley-Slattery Heritage Prairie, an INHF project.
