Garlic Mustard Removal Day at Ann Munn Woods (Ames)

Please join the volunteers of Friends of the Park and the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation for a garlic mustard pulling party at Ann Munn Woods on the morning of Saturday April 24, 2021. We are hoping to gather as many volunteers as possible to fight the spread of the invasive garlic mustard weed within Munn Woods. We will meet at 9:00am at the entrance of the woods off Hickory/Woodland St. The area should have sufficient space for street parking, and from this entrance we will have access to a part of the park that we have targeted for garlic mustard removal.
