Join Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, Polk County Conservation, and Conservation Corps of Iowa to celebrate National Trails Day!

Volunteers will lend a hand maintaining the trails in Polk County before gathering for an afternoon of food, fun, and community. No experience necessary. All the equipment you'll need is provided. Families welcome. Registration is required.

This event will celebrate the 10th anniversary of our volunteer program! While INHF has had many dedicated volunteers since our founding, the volunteer program was officially formed in 2013 when resources became available from the Geitel Winakor bequest. To celebrate, we're hosting volunteer events across the state. Learn about our fall anniversary event here.

More information including where the event will be held and how to RSVP will be available soon.
