Loess Hills Summer Hike (Sergeant Bluff)

INHF acorn logo
RSVP

Enjoy a summer hike on the prairie with INHF and our partners from the Northwest Iowa Sierra Club. You'll get to explore one of INHF's newest properties, Wendel Family Prairie Preserve.

The morning will be spent hiking to find wildflowers and explore the unique landscape of the Loess Hills. The hike will also provide insight into the history of the property and planned stewardship projects.

There is limited space for this program; registration is required.

From these hills, there are views of three states. Wendel Family Prairie Preserve was generously donated by Scott and Sandra Wendel in 2022.
