Join INHF, United By Blue, Active Endeavors, City of Des Moines Parks and Recreation, Polk County Conservation and Polk Soil and Water Conservation District for a creek cleanup!

We will be tackling trash in and around Yeader Creek in Ewing Park. People of all ages are welcome! Volunteers ages 15+ will be permitted to clean in the waterway. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and wet, long pants and closed toe shoes. Feel free to bring your own waders or boots if you have them.

About the Bluemovement Road Trip

The Yeader Creek cleanup is one of 20 cleanups that United by Blue, a sustainable outdoor apparel and lifestyle brand with a mission to clean the world's waterways, is co-hosting nationwide this summer, from June-August, to establish community partnerships between their specialty retailers, conservation or municipal partners, and volunteers. So far they have hosted 210 cleanups and removed more than 1,091,432 pounds of trash across 38 states (and counting).
