The remnant, hilltop prairie calls! You're invited to join us in northeast Iowa on this beautiful, never plowed native prairie overlooking Heritage Valley, a 1,200 acre nature preserve not usually open to the public.
Many hands are needed to collect prairie seed, as mechanical harvesters just can't make the hike. Seeds collected will used to diversify and expand the prairie. Arrive early to enjoy coffee, conversation and learn about Heritage Valley and its amazing prairies. An RSVP is requested for this event.
